Well, it’s goodbye from this blog. For various practical reasons, I’m moving over to Blogger. So this blog, in this form, is now finished.

On a positive note I now have two blogs. The first will be a continuation of this nonsense - so a bastard son of hiking and bad writing. On the latter note, I've had half-a-dozen rejections for the last book, so I'm going to be posting the bastard in its entirety over the next few months. You can find it at:

I've also started a parenting blog. It's aimed at dads like me who still haven't learned to go to bed early to make up for sleep deprevation. This lives at:
